You can delete your SnapDiagnose account and everything in it at any time. Here's how, and exactly what gets removed.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open SnapDiagnose.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and all data.
- Confirm. You're signed out immediately and your account is deactivated straight away — it can't be signed into again.
Then a 30-day window: your data is permanently and automatically deleted 30 days after you ask. That short window exists so an accidental — or malicious — deletion can be undone. Changed your mind? Email support@snapdiagnose.com within 30 days and we'll stop it. After that it's gone for good, with no way to recover it.
Prefer we do it for you?
Email support@snapdiagnose.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's you and take care of it.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login
- Your submitted photos
- Your diagnosis history and saved projects
- Your region and preferences
What may remain briefly or by necessity
- During the 30 days: your data still exists but your account is deactivated and inaccessible. It is deleted automatically when the window ends — no one has to remember to do it.
- Backups: residual copies in routine backups are purged on our normal cycle (within 30 days) after the deletion runs.
- Security logs: we keep records of security events (e.g. sign-in throttling) to protect the service from fraud and abuse, but we unlink them from you — your user ID is erased from them, so they no longer identify you.
- Transaction records: purchase records the app store or we are legally required to keep may be retained as required by law, likewise unlinked from your identity. These aren't used to identify you for any other purpose.
Subscriptions — cancel separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because subscriptions are billed by the app store you purchased from. On iPhone, cancel in App Store → Apple Account → Subscriptions. On Android, cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancel before or after deleting, to avoid further charges.
